Experienced Junior Designer - SH3196

The speed read:
This branding and communication agency requires a brilliant junior designer with a minimum of two years experience within an agency.

The facts:
You must have creative flair and an ability to develop ideas from scratch. Within this role you’ll be exposed to a variety of opportunities and will be required to use your creative skills within a team environment to deliver some excellent creative thinking. Briefs will vary across a wide spectrum of work, from research for large rebrands through to designing content for social media.

As part of this team you will be expected to communicate your ideas, alongside working with suppliers and contractors. You’ll know what it is to work under pressure and will be resourceful and committed enough to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

You’ll be:
Happy to learn from a great team, supporting them as required. You’ll be expected to attend brainstorms and be able to develop concepts that are both creative and suitable for client needs. With strong attention to detail, you’ll be able to produce pre press and digital artwork as well as having the ability to produce beautifully crafted designs. You will have knowledge of print production, web design and motion graphics. As well as an awareness of current and emerging design trends you will also have an interest in, and be an active user of, social media.

This Clerkenwell based branding and communications agency is looking for a Design Director to join their team.

The Facts:
This agency consists of a team of around 25 - a mix of 2d and 3d designers, digital, AV and a client service team. The agency has a parent company which is a global PR and communications firm and consequently they are able to work collaboratively on a number of international branding and communications projects.

They are looking for a Design Director that loves campaigns, digital, social and content. You’ll be working on a diverse range of briefs for well-known B2C brands. What unites them is the need for conceptual thought, smart ideas and outstanding creative.

You’ll have an agency background and be great at getting the best out of teams. You’ll love presenting and be a natural communicator.

You’ll be:

The Speed Read: 
This mid-size agency requires a strong middleweight designer to join their team. The successful candidate will have a background of working on commercial brand based projects in a fast paced environment. 
The Facts:
You will be able to demonstrate a strong creative flair and the ability to develop design thinking from scratch. You will be adept at developing concepts that are both appropriate and creatively challenging. Your knowledge of current and emerging design trends will ensure that you produce stimulating and forward thinking ideas and you will translate these creative concepts into detailed design proposals and drawing packages. You will be happy presenting your ideas to colleagues and clients alike and you should have a good ability to take and interpret briefs and distill this information to other members of the team. You will be a supportive team member and will be happy to liaise with both colleagues and external suppliers. Your good knowledge of construction and production techniques will be of great benefit to this role and will allow you work independently.
You must have strong freehand sketching skills and will be fluent in CAD, Vectorworks, Cinema 4D and Adobe Creative Suite.

Midweight Account Manager - SB3199

The speed read:
You will be an account manager with a few years experience and know how to manage a great project, end to end. 
Some design agency experience will have given you a strong sense of process and the right mind for great client service, clear communication and problem solving. 
You will be really organised and understand the impact of changing deadlines and requirements as you move along the process. You will have senior level exposure, so you should be able to talk with the client, be flexible, articulate and assertive (in a good way!).

The facts:
Day to day you will be working with 2 designers and an account director within an overall agency size of around 6 people. You will be great at all the functional aspects of the role; scheduling, budgets and planning. You will be to able to understand and challenge a communications brief and contribute to a conversation that decides the best result. In terms of delivery, there is lots of variety. It could be many different types of print, a website or app, all thoughtfully produced.

In the luxury sector, but you don’t need experience in this area, though an interest is good.

Senior Designer - SB3185

The speed read:
The agency produces branding, printed and digital corporate communications for many different types of businesses. They want a senior designer to join one of their teams who will happily work across brand, reporting, literature and loads of other communications. 

The facts:
You will be hands on from concept to delivery (although you get help with the artwork!). You are the sort of person who enjoys making sense of a communications brief, as well as relishing the detail, to produce  beautiful, crafted and thoughtful design. You will work on a wide variety of projects in the team, so you are very adaptable. You can communicate your ideas clearly to clients and colleagues alike. This agency's clients range from large businesses to SME’s, but you will need to be used to working on communications for large businesses, and enjoy all the challenges and opportunities that come with that. You will still be a hands on designer (and want to be) and have great typography and layout skills - the design standards are very high and your folio will demonstrate the quality of your work.
